What are some safety concerns when performing rope bondage?

As with any BDSM activity, safety first! Here are a few tips:
- Have a "safeword" in place
- Make sure the kitten has an easy means of escape in case of emergency. This can be as simple as having a pair of safety shears handy.
- Never leave a bound kitten unattended
- Avoid ties that can too heavily restrict breathing and possibly cause asphyxia
- If a kitten is held in one position for an extended period of time, be sure to check corresponding body parts periodically for numbness, coldness, or discoloration as this can be a sign of blocked circulation or impaired nerve function.
- We suggest to remain sober. Usually some libations can be used to liven up your sex life and release some inhibitions. However, when it comes to BDSM, it is best to forego intoxicants. Bondage and other BDSM activities require all parties to be coherent, consensual, responsible, and focused.

Is the shipping packaging discrete?

Of course. We ship our rope in standard USPS Priority Mail packaging with only our return address, no company name or logo.

How much weight can your rope bear?

There is not an authorized load rating, as all of our rope is made of natural fibers and can differ significantly. Jute and hemp can be used to support weight, but cotton is not suitable because it is not as strong. General use and care will eventually weaken natural fibers over time. Every so often, it is good to inspect your rope for signs of wear and weak areas. If the rope is questionable, it is best to replace it.
